The holidays are upon us again. It seems not long ago we were hanging out at the beach and now we are roasting chestnuts on the open fire. It’s the time of year to spend a little less time at work and a little more time at home with your families.
Here at Grafton Animal Hospital, we appreciate your patience with us as we allow our staff to take an extra day off this year for the holidays We will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, December 24th and 25th as well as Saturday, December 31st and Sunday January 1st. We will still have staff coming in each day to care for your pets who are boarding, but we will not be seeing any appointments. If you wish to check on your pet or need to schedule an after-hours pickup for a boarding pet, please leave a message at (757) 898-8433. If your pet is in need of medical care that cannot wait until Monday, please contact the Peninsula Emergency Veterinary Clinic at (757) 874-8115.
We are also allowing Dr. Raiff to spend a little extra time with her family for the holidays, so we will not be able to see medical appointments on December 29th and 30th. We can provide services like baths, vaccines that do not require a doctor, some lab tests, and grooming. If your pet needs something, give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate.
Finally, we want to say “Thank you” to all of our clients who brought us holiday goodies. There are mounds of cookies, candy, cupcakes and all kinds of other things that will not help our waistlines for the holiday. Everyone is very kind and we appreciate it. Have a very happy holiday and we hope to see you in the new year!
